California Lavash, a family-owned flatbread bakery, announces the launch of Traditional and Whole Grain Pita, to be debuted at this year’s Winter Fancy Food Show, January 21-23, 2018 in San Francisco.
“As a flatbread bakery, we’ve heard significant demand through the years for a high-quality, authentic pita bread,” says Lilea Eshoo, California Lavash’s marketing director. “We based our formula on a traditional Lebanese recipe – known for fully pocketed durable yet thin pita—for the authentic taste California Lavash is known for.”
The new Pita joins existing products in their flatbread line: Lavash and Naan. Numerous foodservice clientele as well as early tasters and testers of the product have given enthusiastic positive reviews, noting its is fully cruted. Like the rest of California Lavash’s products, the new Pita is vegan, Non-Gmo Project Verified, and reflects the company’s commitment to authenticity, product integrity, and deliciousness.
California Lavash’s Traditional and Whole Grain Pita will be available in grocery stores starting March 2018.
