NEW JERSEY – Starting July 1, Dofino® challenges consumers to upgrade their same-old sandwiches to great with the big flavor of Havarti cheese. Lasting the whole summer, until the end of September, Dofino® will be capturing shopper attention in stores nationwide with POS materials, sweepstakes to win $500 for groceries, and brand-new recipes to encourage more frequent usage of Havarti as an everyday cheese.
The theme was developed from comments on the popular Dofino® Facebook page, where it became clear that consumers consider Havarti “a treat” and a “special touch.”
A free recipe booklet, “Seven Summer Recipes,” will provide consumers one delicious new meal idea for each day of the week. Dofino® is featuring the winner of its Facebook contest, Jennifer D. from Los Angeles, who posted a photo of her “Kicked-Up Caprese” sandwich on the Dofino page on Facebook. America voted, and her sandwich was the favorite! The recipe booklet also features family-friendly ideas for pasta, salad, and sandwiches to support across-category
purchasing in stores.
