SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Dio Deka Foods will launch at the Winter Fancy Food Show at Booth #2419, January 19 – 21, 2014, in San Francisco, offering attendees the opportunity to try each of its five new packaged food items. Dio Deka Foods inherited its product recipes from the highly acclaimed Dio Deka restaurant in Los Gatos, CA., the only Greek restaurant in the country to have received a Michelin star. Dio Deka is now making some of the most popular dishes on its menu widely available to consumers through a grocery product line, Dio Deka Foods. Using such high quality ingredients as imported Greek feta and yogurt, and innovative packaging technology new to the industry, Dio Deka Foods goes above and beyond what is currently on the market. Products launched at the Fancy Food Show include:
• Keftethes – Authentic Greek Beef & Lamb Meatballs– made with a delicate blend of ground lamb and beef, fresh parsley, mint and Romano cheese
• Moussaka– a hearty, gourmet casserole made from layers of ground lamb and beef, slices of eggplant and potato, garlic, Greek oregano, and topped with a buttery layer of béchamel laced with Romano cheese
Fresh, refrigerated spreads:
• Tzatziki – imported Greek yogurt, cucumbers, dill, garlic and a heavenly blend of herbs and spices
• Tirokafteri – imported Greek feta cheese, Imported Greek yogurt, extra virgin olive oil and diced jalapenos
• Htipiti – imported Greek feta cheese, roasted red bell peppers, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, shallots and oregano
