DEEP RIVER, CT – Deep River Snacks, a leader in premium, natural and flavorful snacks, announces a new addition to its celebrated line up: Classic style potato chips that are Certified Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Project Verified, and made with 100% Sunflower Oil. And true to the company’s commitment to ‘Give A Chip™,’ supports the Chris Klug Foundation on the back of the bag.

“We see a tremendous opportunity to simplify and improve the potato chip category, similarly to what Deep River Snacks has done for kettle chips,” comments Deep River Snacks’ Founder and CEO Jim Goldberg. “Cooking with simpler ingredients and just one oil, Sunflower Oil, we are giving our fans the ability to enjoy the great taste they crave with healthier NON GMO ingredients.”

The Classic Potato Chips are cooked continuously, producing a chip that is lighter and crispier than a kettle chip. Deep River Snacks uses just three simple and Non-GMO Project Verified ingredients to craft their version: Potatoes, 100% Sunflower Oil, and Sea Salt. The product is also Certified Gluten-Free, Kosher and produced in a Nut-Free

Facility.

The package also works to bring awareness to one of the company’s charity partners: the Chris Klug Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes lifesaving organ and tissue donation, and inspires those touched by donation. Deep River Snacks promotes a charity partner on each of its products, and in 2014 donated 14% of the company’s profits to charity.

The addition of Classic Potato Chips to the Deep River Snacks portfolio makes the brand an even stronger player in the snacks category, with a complete assortment of Kettle style and now Classic Potato Chips, as well as Flavored Tortilla Chips, White Cheddar Popcorn, Organic Popcorn, and Baked Crisps.

Deep River Snacks Classic Potato Chips begin shipping July 20, 2015 in cases of 24-1.5oz units.
