TILLAMOOK, Ore. – With a new milder flavor, perfectly creamy texture and updated packaging, Tillamook Monterey Jack has a new recipe and a refreshed look. Also new from the premium dairy products company are the renamed Classic Mac & Cheese (formerly Classic Cheddar) and 4 Cheese Mexican shred blends as well as Provolone, Muenster and Baby Swiss shingle slices.
Known for award-winning cheddar cheeses, Tillamook is using its flavor expertise to update Monterey Jack with a new taste and creamy texture preferred by consumers. A premium ingredient for dinner recipes and sandwiches, all natural Tillamook Monterey Jack is made with only the highest quality milk from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones.

The new Tillamook Monterey Jack is available in 12-oz. slices, 2.5-lb., 1-lb., 8-oz chunks, as well as the 2-lb. Baby Loaf and these sizes cost between $3 and $8.
Shred Blends Sprinkle Flavor on Favorite Recipes
Also new to the dairy case is Tillamook’s latest shred blend, 4 Cheese Mexican, combining the Medium Cheddar voted World’s Best at the 2010 World Championship Cheese Contest® with Monterey Jack, Queso Quesadilla and Asadero. Tillamook’s 4 Cheese Mexican shred blend is the newest addition to Tillamook’s shredded cheese line including renamed Classic Mac & Cheese (formerly Classic Cheddar) and a variety of Mexican and Italian blends. These 8 oz. shred blends sprinkle perfect flavor combinations onto tacos, salads and omelets and are $3-4.
Sliced Cheeses Add Artisan Touch to Sandwiches
For sandwich lovers, Tillamook is introducing three new creamy and savory varieties of sliced cheese including Muenster in 8-oz. packs, Provolone in 7-oz. packs and Baby Swiss in 7-oz. packs. Conveniently pre-sliced and packaged, these Tillamook slices are shingle-packed to hang in the dairy case and are available for $3-4 each.
