COLUMBUS, Wis. – Sassy Cow Creamery, an ice cream, fresh milk and farmstead cheesemaking facility located between Sun Prairie and Columbus, will mark its third anniversary with a fun and action-packed Farm Adventure Weekend on May 21 – 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“With the long winter finally coming to an end, the cows and friendly faces at Sassy Cow look forward to hosting an open house activity for all community members to visit our farm for a fun and educational weekend,” said James Baerwolf, owner and operator.
The Farm Adventure Weekend will feature creamery and farm tours, coloring, mooing and ice cream eating contests, pedal tractor and hayrides, the chance to be a “Farmer for a Day”, pictures with a baby calf and more. All activities are free and family-friendly.
“Sassy Cow Creamery is committed to providing a high-quality, fresh and nutritious product to everyone,” said Baerwolf. "The best part of what we do is hosting events like our Farm Adventure Weekend, where people can learn where their food comes while having fun and making memories to last a lifetime."
