PLYMOUTH, Wis. – Sargento Foods Inc. and the Cincinnati Reds have teamed up to help fans celebrate the start of the 2012 season and to share their passion for baseball and cheese. To honor the great Reds tradition, Sargento will provide entertainment through local events leading up to the home opener and during the big game.
“We know Reds fans are just as passionate about Opening Day as Sargento is about all natural, real cheese,” says Barbara Gannon, vice president of corporate communications and government affairs at Sargento. “We are excited to help devout Reds fans kick off the 2012 baseball season in style.”
To help fans cheer the Reds to a victory on Opening Day, Sargento will offer free poster printing and face painting at the Sargento Cheese Mobile, located in the Fan Zone at Great American Ballpark. Fans can enjoy baseball-themed interactive games, mega concession stands, picnic decks and live music during the game. Festivities start at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 at the Great American Ballpark Fan Zone.
