PLAINVIEW – Back in February, the Demerath Farm near Plainview installed the state of Nebraska’s first-ever fully robotic cow-milking facility.
Now, four months later, they say things couldn’t be going better.
“We haven’t had any trouble,” said Bill Demerath on Saturday. “Everything’s been running smoothly.”
The farm hosted an open house on Saturday, allowing the public to tour the grounds and get a look at what the Demeraths say is a catching trend in the dairy industry.
