Thirteen workers at Sudbury's last remaining milk plant will lose their jobs in the wake of a grocery store chain's decision to switch milk brands.
This week, Loblaws stores in northeastern Ontario will stop selling Beatrice milk, which is produced at the Sudbury Parmalat plant.
Instead it's switched to Neilson milk, a brand manufactured in southern Ontario.
A quarter of the employees at Parmalat's Sudbury operation are affected.
