Roberts Dairy is expanding its facilities to make room for new products.
Located near 29th and Cuming Streets, the Omaha-based dairy is expanding bottling facilities for the addition of plastic half pint and pint lines. Completion is expected by late spring 2013.
The new sizes, which Roberts started making in November, include pints of vitamin D, 2%, skim, premium chocolate, strawberry 1% and fat free chocolate and half pints of 2%, 1%, fat free strawberry and fat free chocolate. The expansion is to fill growing demand for the products. The half pints are used primarily in Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri schools.
