Health foods, organic foods and genetically enhanced foods all compete for consumers' dollars — and Nature's Farm milk is no different.
Not all milk on grocers' shelves is equally healthy, according to Dan Kerkhoff, Nature's Farm chief executive officer, who touts his company's milk as the healthiest.
An argument could be made that Kerkhoff's claims of "the best tasting and most healthy milk available" are marketing ploys, but he supports his claims and offers references. He also has bragging rights to being different than many of his Purdue Research Park neighbors in West Lafayette.
"We may be the first consumable product to come through here," Kerkhoff said as he sat in the company offices on the second floor of the International Technology Center. "In this case, it's a beneficial, sustainable product that's nutritious.
