Shatto Milk Company has released two new artisan butters, Honey Butter and Garlic Butter. These two premium butters are hitting store shelves this week just in time for the holidays. Shatto Milk Company’s existing salted and un-salted butters have experienced success both in local stores as well as in international judging competitions over the past four years. These two new additions have something of their own to bring to the table.
Honey Butter – This premium product combines cream from the Shatto’s local herd of dairy cows with premium local honey from Coopers Honey, located in Peculiar, Missouri. The finished product is a local collaboration that has yielded a delicious product great for use on toast, english muffins, or hot biscuits,
heated and pour over pancakes, waffles, or ice cream, and as flavoring for oatmeal, hot cereals or sweet potatoes.
Garlic Butter – This artisan butter is made using the cream from the Shatto’s small local herd of dairy cows in combination with some of the tastiest garlic you will find. Garlic butter can be used to compliment things like mashed potatoes, broccoli, steak, tilapia, red potatoes and of course hot bread as you get ready to enjoy your favorite past dish. For those that are a bit more sophisticated in your cooking, garlic butter is also a great addition to crostini with tomato confit.
“We are all very excited to introduce the newest additions to our artisan butter line. These new products offer our customers a local option of products that are not currently widely available on store shelves.” Said the Shatto Family. “We are happy to announce that our honey butter is a local collaboration with a bee keeper right here in the Kansas City area.”
The Shatto’s have also used this product unveil their updated butter packaging. They have moved from a foil wrapped block to a newer state of the art printed tub, which will make it much easier for the consumer to handle and enjoy these locally made butters.
