Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) welcomes Kari Skibbie to the organization as Manager, Dairy Company Communications, where she will work with dairy and cheese companies across the state to integrate marketing campaigns and provide targeted support.
Skibbie joins WMMB with more than 20 years of experience in the dairy industry, most recently as the Sales and Retail Director of Holland’s Family Cheese/Marieke Gouda in Thorp, Wisconsin. She has held roles as a teacher, farm consultant and small business owner in her career, and is bringing valuable skills to the WMMB team.
"Kari's extensive experience in the Wisconsin dairy industry will bring a new perspective to the role of WMMB’s Dairy Company Communications Manager," said Marty Pullin, Senior Vice President – Channel Management. “We are excited for Kari to be on board and look forward to increasing our marketing integration efforts with cheese and dairy companies across the state.”
Skibbie holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Business and Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Skibbie is also a licensed Wisconsin Cheesemaker. She resides in Stanley, Wisconsin.
