LE MARS, Iowa Workers at Wells' Dairy in Le Mars have approved a new contract.
Le Mars radio station KLEM-AM reports that workers approved a three-year contract in voting that began on Tuesday and ended Thursday.
The new agreement includes pay raises for 1,400 workers at the northwest Iowa company, which makes Blue Bunny ice cream and frozen novelties.
The contract, which takes effect in Jan. 1, includes a pay raise of 3 percent in the first year, 3 percent in the second year and 3.5 percent in the third year.
