Lynnfield, MA – Hood® Simply Smart® Milk recently extended its partnership with tennis legend Chris Evert to serve up support for Chris Evert Charities.
For every match won by an American women’s tennis player during the 2010 US Open, Simply Smart donated $1,000 to Evert’s charity.
The total donation made was $8,000. This will help fund programs that ensure a future of at-risk children and their families.
“I partnered with Simply Smart two years ago because it allows me and my family to have it all—all the taste without the fat,” said Evert, a six-time winner of the US Open. “During this year’s US Open, Simply Smart helped my charity have it all too!”
The centerpiece of Chris Evert Charities is the Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic, which takes place in Boca Raton, Florida Nov. 5-7. It has raised $18.4 million since 1989.
Simply Smart is also giving consumers a chance to win a VIP Tennis Weekend for two at the Pro-Celebrity Classic, which raises funds for Chris Evert charities. Consumers are encouraged to visit BeSimplySmart.com and submit their contact information by September 30th. The VIP prize package includes: airfare and accommodations for two, invitations to the Gala Dinner Dance, skybox seating for the tennis matches and an opportunity to play a few games of tennis on the court with Evert and other celebrities.
