Sixteen students will receive scholarships toward their college education through Hilmar Cheese Co.'s ninth annual scholarship program.
"We are so glad to be able to help students further their education," said Druann Ahlem, Hilmar Cheese founding owner and scholarship committee member.
"It is important to support our employees' children, the children of the dairy farm families who ship milk to us and students majoring in agriculture who are our industry's future," Ahlem said.
