GUELPH — The farmer-owned Organic Meadow dairy co-operative has received a deadline extension to complete a business restructuring amid growing milk supply limitations.

The firm, with local headquarters and processing plant, filed for creditor protection to allow unfettered redevelopment of its operations, it announced early last month, hoping to complete this within a month.

On Wednesday, marketing manager Michelle Schmidt said that's been extended to June 16 by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in London.
