MADISON, Wis. – As part of the World Dairy Expo in Madison on Oct. 6, the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection will present a Global Dairy Symposium with leading experts from around the world sharing their insights on the dairy industry.

The panel of presenters will discuss the impact of global changes in the way dairy products are produced and marketed. Jen Pino-Gallagher, bureau director of the Division of Agricultural Development for DATCP. is excited about the event.

"The focus of the event is to give the participants a really good understanding of the trends that are leading changes in the production of dairy products around the world," she said, "as well as consumer trends in terms of what consumers around the globe are looking for in terms of dairy products."
