General Mills, Pepsico, Nestle May Make Yoplait Bids, FT Says

Possible bidders for 50 percent of French dairy products maker Yoplait SAS include General Mills Inc., PepsiCo Inc., Nestle SA and two Chinese companies: Bright Foods Group Shanghai Changjiang Corp. and China Mengniu Dairy Co., the Financial Times reported, without saying where it got the information.
The stake will formally be put up for sale today by French private-equity firm PAI Partners, the newspaper said.
The other 50 percent of Yoplait is owned by Sodiaal Industrie, a French farmers’ cooperative, the FT said.
