CLOVIS, N.M. — An eastern New Mexico city is clearing the path for a cheese plant to dump its wastewater.
The Eastern New Mexico News reports Clovis City Commission on Thursday unanimously approved an agreement between the city and Southwest Cheese to begin a test pilot project.
Under the agreement, the city will accept wastewater from the cheese plant for watering parks and recreation fields.
