HOUSTON – Texas-based Blue Bell Ice Cream announced it will open a Colorado distribution center in Englewood on March 14 to sell its products in 36 communities statewide, including the Northern Colorado region.
Blue Bell will serve markets within a 100-mile radius of Englewood, a territory that covers Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Fort Lupton, Berthoud and Longmont. In honor of its entry into Colorado, Blue Bell is introducing a new ice cream flavor – Rocky Mountain Road – that will be sold exclusively in Colorado.
Blue Bell is currently sold in 20 states, and is the nation's third best-selling ice cream brand, according to the company.
