Foodies from all over the world flock to San Francisco every January to introduce, taste, market and buy hundreds and hundreds of specialty food products destined for the shelves of supermarkets and gourmet food stores.
Staged last week at Moscone Center, the Winter Fancy Food Show featured more than 1,300 exhibitors — with 320 coming from California alone — and attracted some 17,000 buyers and media representatives from all over the world.
This year’s show featured new pavilions from Mexico, Wales, Turkey, Jamaica, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam as well as a pavilion devoted to natural and organic producers.
