MADISON, WI – The American Dairy Coalition recently announced the addition of U.S. Congressman Ted Yoho to their list of keynote speakers at “The ADC Milk Minute Live “informative session at the World Dairy Expo (WDE) on October 3rd. The Congressman will be providing information on his new bi-partisan Agricultural Guest Worker Reform Legislation, which has been developed to address labor shortages in the agricultural industry. Congressman Yoho will have staff that were heavily involved in the writing of the legislation present for a Question & Answer panel to address feedback and inquiries by attendees.
The session—which will be held at the World Dairy Expo on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at 11:30 CST—is intended to give the opportunity for dairy producers to gain valuable information on critical topics to the industry and to ask questions they may have. The session, entitled “The ADC Milk Minute Live”, will include two keynote topics including, “Introducing The Ag Guest Worker Bill: A Q&A with Congressman Yoho’s Leadership Team” and “PFAS Contamination: Will Your Farm Be in the Cross Hairs of Broader Testing Requirements?”
As mentioned, attendees will also hear from experts on the subject of PFAS and the outlook of regulatory concerns to dairy operations. Featured speakers on this topic will include Leah Ziemba, Partner at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP; and Matthew Schroeder (M.S., P.E.), Senior Environmental Engineer with The Dragun Corporation.
