MADISON, Wis. — Allen Hendricks has been promoted to director of Channel Programs and Foodservice National Accounts for Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB). Hendricks, a sales/marketing executive and chef, joined WMMB in March, 2011, as director of Foodservice National Accounts. He will continue to work with national accounts in the foodservice segment and will add retail responsibilities as well, reporting to WMMB’s Chief Executive Office James H. Robson.
In making the announcement, Robson said, “Allen has done an excellent job of evaluating the opportunities for promotion of Wisconsin dairy products with large national and regional accounts. He has developed and executed excellent programs with Culver’s, A&W Restaurants, Country Kitchens, Texas Roadhouse Restaurants, Toppers Pizza and others.”
Before joining WMMB, Hendricks was sales manager for CDS, a high-end specialty cheese and food broker based in Elmhurst, Ill. He also has served as sales manager for Schreiber Foods, Inc., based in Green Bay, Wis., as well as heading up his own specialty services company, AMH Resources, where his clients included WMMB.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of American in Hyde Park, N.Y., Hendricks also attended the University of Nebraska where he studied nutrition, foodservice and animal science. He is a member of the Show & Sell Center Committee of the International Dairy, Deli and Bakery Association and has served as a judge for both U.S. and World Champion Cheese Contests. He and his family reside in Madison.
The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, a nonprofit organization funded by the state's dairy farmers, promotes the consumption of Wisconsin Cheese and other dairy products.
