You can now buy those famous Ukrop’s Rainbow Cookies and White House Rolls at Kroger.
The Cincinnati-based grocery chain has inked a deal with Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods to supply baked goods to its stores in the Lynchburg, Roanoke and Raleigh-Durham markets. It began carrying the items last month.
The products, including pies, cornbread, tarts and Ukrop’s Homestyle staples of White House Rolls and Rainbow Cookies, are sold under the Good Meadow brand.
Ukrop’s Homestyle created Good Meadow to distribute its food products to supermarkets outside the Richmond and Williamsburg areas, where it has an agreement with Martin’s Food Markets to supply stores there with prepared foods and baked goods.
