September 10, 2015 | 2 min to read
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As a special one hour breakout session during the upcoming ABA Fall Policy Conference, please join in a discussion on a major issue impacting bakers’ bottom lines – the theft of plastic bread trays.
In this important session, Tray Loss and Prevention – Where We Were, Where We Are, What’s Next, ABA members will hear information on the causes of bakery tray loss, and how the industry can work to eradicate an issue that continues to cost bakers millions each year.
Bakery Division Director Glenn Rindfleisch of Rehrig Pacific Company will open the session with a presentation on the causes of loss and how it impacts your bottom line.
The session will continue with a presentation from VP Sales & Marketing JR Paterakis, H&S Bakery, Inc., and the Wolf Security team of Brian Wolf and Adam Lippe, on the successes of the Control of Missing Baskets and Trays (COMBAT) efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region, and ways to expand on them nationwide.
If tray loss is a major issue impacting your business, this breakout is for you!
Crime pays and often pays well. The costs to business and consumers increases each year. Businesses have become either tolerant of increased costs due to theft or overwhelmed by where to begin to stop it. Doing nothing is a decision, but it’s unlikely that any business can overlook the mounting losses. Instead, companies can do something with the proper advice from someone to help combat theft. Whether it is site security or professional investigations and consulting, the decision to stand up and fight theft is a promise businesses make to their employees, stakeholders, and consumers. – Wolf Professional Security
Doing nothing about plastic thefts is a statement that encourages more plastic thefts… This will benefit the ABA membership, increase the successes of COMBAT, and allow the professional Wolf investigators to complete our goals. – JR Paterakis, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, H&S Bakery, Inc.
