Tortilla Maker Plans To Open Elk Grove Plant This Fall

Mi Rancho, a San Leandro-based tortilla manufacturer, continues to move forward without delays on its plan to open a manufacturing plant in Elk Grove.
Alexa Shields, sales and marketing supervisor for Mi Rancho, told the Citizen last week that the company is on course to open within the next three months. She referred to Elk Grove as a “wonderful fit” for the company.
Mi Rancho, which is one of the state’s premier tortilla manufacturers, purchased the former Bimbo Bakeries property at 10115 Iron Rock Way, near McConnell Park, for $8.1 million.
