Unna Bakery is a small NY bakery, run by Ulrika Petterson from Östersund in Sweden. Inspired by her grand mother, a devoted baker, indulging her family with traditional Swedish recipes and cookies, Ulrika has taken the pursuit to a new level.
Ulrika Petterson, a graphic designer by training, decided to make her dream come true and start a bakery, when settling down in NY, a few years ago.
”We are still in the early start-up phase but growing very fast. We have been lucky to establish interest from some of the finest food stores and deli´s in America.”
The biggest challenge, developing towards an all organic and sustainable entity, at the same time keeping up with an accelerating demand is to be able to get hold of high quality ingredients”. Adds Ulrika
