Schnucks Helping Ferguson Bakery

FERGUSON, Mo. – A Ferguson bakery is getting a little help from the competition.

Natalie DuBose spent years selling her specialty cakes at flea markets and bake sales until she saved enough money to open her own cake shop.

Natalie's Cakes and More opened in June on Florissant Road in the heart of Ferguson. A few weeks later, she found her business in the middle of the unrest following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.

When Schnucks heard her story, the company decided to help by selling some of her products in its stores.
