Sarkozy Bakery Kitchen Passes Inspection; Baking To Start In Tuesday In Downtown Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, MI – The kitchen section of the new Sarkozy Bakery passed muster with a health inspector from the Michigan Department of Agriculture on Monday morning.

But baking will not begin today, head baker Judy Sarkozy said, and it will be a few more days until its breads, crackers and other products will reappear.

“We have mixed some things,” Sarkozy said late Monday morning. “We don’t expect to bake anything until tomorrow morning.”
