SOMERSWORTH — Leaven Beer and Bread House will be closing at the end of the month; their last day is Saturday, Oct 1.
In an open letter to the public on Tuesday from partners Emmett Soldati, Jameson Small and Elizabeth Carter, they state that the restaurant will be closing to prepare for something new but the wholesale bakery will continue operation.
“Last year, due to an unexpected demand for our sourdough bread, we had to move the bakery off-premise to accommodate this growth,” the letter states. “While we are focusing on strategic growth of our wholesale bakery, it’s time to do what’s right for the restaurant.”
