Maplehurst Bakeries To Build A 173,000-Sq Ft Manufacturing Building

A commercial bakery will build a 173,000-square-foot manufacturing building at Central Pike and State Route 840 in Lebanon, which could bring up to 147 new jobs.

Maplehurst Bakeries, a division of Weston Foods, announced the $102.8 million investment with Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd.

The “right mix” of geographic advantages and workforce pool were among reasons Maplehurst elected Lebanon, said Kevin McDonough, president of Weston Foods’ Biscuit and Frozen Divisions in a press release.
