Lucy's Joins Fight Against Breast Cancer With Limited Edition Packaging & Charitable Donation

Norfolk, VA – Lucy’s®, creator of delectable gluten-free and allergy friendly desserts, announced today the launch of a limited edition packaging created specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. In support of the American Cancer Society, an organization dedicated to eliminating cancer, Lucy’s® will provide a charitable donation in 2014 as well as help to educate consumers about one of the most common cancers among women in the United States.

The special edition packaging, created for Lucy’s® best-selling 5.5 ounce Chocolate Chip cookie boxes, will flaunt a pink ribbon, the international symbol for Breast Cancer Awareness, in addition to embracing a feminine design for a yearly cause inspired by women. In collaboration with the American Cancer Society’s fight against breast cancer, Lucy’s® will donate $50,000 to the nonprofit organization as well as share information on its website regarding the importance of prevention, early detection, treatment and support when it comes to breast cancer.
