Owner Tim Moeller explains how pumpkin pies came to join the August’s Pies selection:
“My father, August Moeller, originally developed the recipe for baked pumpkin pies in 1955. With a few modifications and the help of my friends, I adapted the recipe to make the fried pumpkin pies.
