Fun facts from the last 50 years:
McKee Foods Corporation, a privately held, family-run company based in
Collegedale, Tennessee, has sold more than 150 billion Little Debbie snacks
since the brand became available in 1960. That means about 6,000 snacks per
minute have sold since the snacks first hit store shelves.
If you lined up all those snacks, it would cover more than nine million miles
— enough to circle the Earth more than 380 times! That’s also enough snack
cakes to stretch to the moon and back 20 times!
There are dozens of quizzes, crosswords and brain teasers on the internet that
feature trivia about the snack food icon. Go online and test your Little Debbie
knowledge!
Little Debbie currently has more than 500,000 Facebook fans and close to 5,000
