King’s Hawaiian settled a lawsuit against grocery corporation Aldi earlier this month concerning “confusingly similar” packaging of its sweet rolls.
The company filed the lawsuit Oct. 21 in the U.S. District Court in Gainesville. King’s Hawaiian’s principal place of operation is in Oakwood.
King’s Hawaiian claimed Aldi was selling sweet rolls “that intentionally and willfully employ product packaging that is confusingly similar to the distinctive packaging trade dress that King’s Hawaiian uses,” according to the previously filed claim.
