BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A local cookie company is going national.
The Giorgio Cookie Company is based in Bellaire, and its products are now available in 44 states.
It all began in a coffee shop in Centre Wheeling that Theresa Childers owns, when another opportunity arose.
"She had a hard time filling my order and decided to get out of the business, and it gave me and my daughter an opportunity to purchase her company," Childers said.
