There is no greater competition for exhibiting your talents than those organized by the renowned Kerry Vincent. Nowhere else on Earth will you observe such high standards of cake artistry as the OSSAS competition. This year's event will take place September 27 – 28 at the Tulsa State Fair.
Kerry Vincent is the co-founder of OSSAS and founder of the National Wedding Cake Competition. She served as judge on Food Network's "Challenge" and currently stars in the Food Network series "Save My Bakery." She was inducted into the International Cake Exploration Societé Hall of Fame in 2004 and then the Dessert Professional Hall of Fame in 2010.
Each year, Kerry organizes these tremendous competitions with magnificent prizes to challenge cake artists to take their skills to the next level. By entering the OSSAS competition and Grand National Wedding Cake Competitions, you will test your skills and earn valuable feedback from highly qualified judges.
We encourage you to enter your cakes to engage in the learning experience and the opportunity to compete for outstanding prizes. The talent, artistry and knowledge you will acquire in the process will awe you.
Cake decorators of all skills and ages are encouraged to enter the standard competition. Entrants may possess beginner to master skill levels. The deadline to enter this event is September 1st, 2014. You may download the entry form here. This form may also be used to enter the Baking Competition. This year's challenge is to create the perfect chocolate cake. The deadline to enter is August 1st.
The Grand National Wedding Cake Competition is the foremost cake competition in the nation, setting new standards in excellence in cake artistry. Competitors will enter their cakes displayed on coordinating tablescapes. Professional to master level cake decorators may enter using this entry form.
