TORRINGTON – Stephanie Watts’ bakery is nestled inside a 1,000 square-foot space on Main Street.
The space at 53 Main St. is quaint, but sufficient enough to house First Act Bakery, a business Watts had been dreaming of opening since her childhood. And thanks to a growing demand in her services, she’s decided to expand, engulfing the roughly 400 square-foot space next door at 55 Main St.
“We are running out of a little bit of space to do the large orders at a time,” said Watts, business owner and head baker.
