CSM Bakery Solutions Names New Vice President Of Procurement

Brian Chambers will join the CSM team as Vice President of Procurement. He will be based in Atlanta, reporting to Jim Parker, Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer.

In this role, Chambers will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies and processes to strengthen CSM’s capabilities around the world, while building on the deep talent base the business already has in place.

“Brian will help us as we continue to build a world-class procurement team,” Parker said. “As our customer needs and business challenges continue to grow and evolve the importance of developing and maintaining procurement excellence across all areas of CSM Bakery Solutions will be essential.”

Chambers brings an impressive background of procurement experience, primarily in the food industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer for Revlon, where he was able to restructure and transform the business’ procurement function to a more agile and strategy-driven organization.

Prior to his time at Revlon, Chambers worked in a global role for Mars as Vice President of Procurement for the drinks segment. Most of his career has been with the W.M. Wrigley Jr. Company, where he held a number of positions, the last of which was Senior Director of Global Innovation Productivity and Sustainability. He has also worked with a number of well-known global brands, including Kraft Foods and Nabisco.

Chambers holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University and has also studied abroad with the Tokyo School of Packaging Engineering in Japan.
