Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin? It's Uncle Mike's Kringle

There's a new epicenter of kringle consumption in Wisconsin. 

Move over Racine: Voters named Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe's sea salt caramel pecan kringle the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin by voters in the annual Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce contest. 

Uncle Mike's kringle beat out 160 entrants in the contest to highlight all of the cool things made in the state. The kringle survived several rounds of elimination-style voting and beat out multinational companies like John Deere, Oshkosh Corp., Komatsu and Generac Power Systems to take the honors. More than 175,000 votes were cast over the course of the contest.
