The construction process on BreadHive Worker Cooperative Bakery continues at 123 Baynes Street in the city’s West Side.
The building, just around the corner from Sweet_ness 7 Café, will soon be housing a production space featuring an enormous tri-deck stainless steel steam injection oven named Grendel. According to the worker-owners the building has undergone a “historically sensitive” rehabilitation with a complete restoration of the historical front façade.
