Sunday Officer's Reception Moved to Tuesday Evening:
The Officer's Reception, which has been held Sunday evening, has been moved to Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm, following the third session of MarketPlace: 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Post conference surveys showed that attendees felt that the Sunday night reception made it difficult to schedule dinners and other networking events at the start of the meeting since the reception did not conclude until 8:00 pm.
Wednesday Morning Closing Session Eliminated:
Time is everyone's most precious commodity. For the past several years, conference attendees have requested that the meeting be tightened-up so that it required less time away from work and family. Historically, the General Session attendance drops dramatically from 850-900 on Monday morning to less that 150 on Wednesday morning. Attempts to keep attendees at the meeting with captivating panels and keynote speakers have not been successful. It is clear that the vast majority of attendees already depart Wednesday morning. Therefore, the Wednesday morning session has been eliminated and the final keynote speaker and the introduction of new Officers have been moved to Tuesday afternoon.
Three Days of MarketPlace:
BakingTech's MarketPlace, with over 200 exhibitors, will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The traditional TableTop displays provide an even playing field for our Allied Members and promote the development of networking contacts. Be sure to attend all three days to take advantage of having all of your important business contacts in one place at one time.
