DENVER — A season-long partnership with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer (MLS) and Ardent Mills, the premier flour-milling and ingredient company, has resulted in 100,000 meals for Food Bank of the Rockies.
"With every corner kick by the Colorado Rapids this season, we have donated 500 meals to fight hunger. When they have scored on a kick, we increased the donation to 1,000 meals," says Ardent Mills CEO Dan Dye. "As a newcomer to the community it has been especially gratifying to partner with the Rapids and Food Bank of the Rockies knowing how the 184 corner kicks make a difference in battling hunger. Thousands in this region will benefit from this effort."
