“ABA is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of key industry leader Chris Cocaine,” said ABA President & CEO Robb MacKie. “Chris was a passionate, dedicated leader to ABA and Table Talk Pies who left an enduring, indelible mark on the baking industry. His humble but firm guiding presence will be greatly missed.”

Mr. Cocaine held many leadership positions in the baking industry over the course of his life, becoming the first non-bread baker chairman of the American Bakers Association in 1976 and twice serving as the Chairman of the International Baking Industry Exposition IBIE Committee. Under his leadership, IBIE grew into a truly global baking industry trade show that now draws over 22,000 baking industry executives from over 110 countries.
