Chesterfield, Missouri – Due to continued rising input costs, AB Mauri Fleischmann’s will increase prices in the United States and Canada on fresh yeast, dry yeast and mold inhibitors effective Jan. 1, 2012, or as contracts expire. Factors impacting pricing include transportation, substrates, propionic acid and other key raw materials.
These select bakery ingredient increases will vary based on their different input costs.
AB Mauri Fleischmann’s will also be implementing service-level brackets that may increase pricing for customers based on order size and delivery frequency.
