Mi Rancho, an organic tortilla company based in San Leandro, is building a factory that will eventually employ 250 people in Elk Grove! Sac Business Journal reports the company hopes to begin making tortillas in 90 days in the former Bimbo Bakeries location on Iron Rock Way.
Mi Rancho plans to retrofit the 150,000-square-foot building into a modern, highly automated and technologically advanced food processing facility over the next 24 months and are investing $25 million into the project. Once production is fully up and running the company will begin employing people.
