MISSOULA, Mont. — In commemoration of its 120th anniversary, Daily’s® Premium Meats introduced today Cherry Applewood Smoked Center Cut Bacon with a hint of sweetness and a deep smoke flavor.

For this addition to its family of premium food service bacon products, Daily’s uses fresh, never frozen, hand-selected pork bellies and an old-fashioned sugar cure before smoking with cherry and apple woods. Each bacon slice delivers to the plate a rich, deep smoke flavor with a hint of sweetness, and golden brown color for eye-catching presentation.

Daily’s offers Cherry Applewood Smoked Center Cut Bacon in three slice thicknesses allowing menu options from center-of-the plate to a dish complement. The 15-pound food service cases are gas-flushed packaged for extended storage and shelf life. The company plans to offer retail stack pack Cherry Applewood Smoked Thick Sliced Bacon in 2014.

Daily’s Cherry Applewood Smoked Center Bacon complements an extensive line of raw and fully cooked bacon products, including Deep Applewood Smoked Center Cut Bacon, Hardwood Smoked Honey Cured Bacon, and Hardwood Smoked Sugar Cured Bacon.
