CARLINVILLE, IL — Prairie Farms Dairy has a 75-year rich history of giving back to communities and today the company announced it is taking community involvement one step further. Traditionally, supporting a nonprofit organization involves volunteering or donating money. Now, with the launch of Our Caps, Your Cause, consumers can drink delicious Prairie Farms milk and support their favorite charities.

It is easy for consumers and charities to participate. Consumers purchase white or flavored milk in gallon or half gallon sizes, peel off the cap sticker to reveal a unique code, visit www.prairiefarms.com/our-caps-your-cause,
choose a charity and enter the code. Charities can participate by submitting a one-time application. After approval, for every code entered the charity receives 5 cents. Once 1,000 codes have been entered, Prairie Farms will send a check to the charity.

“For 75 years, our farm families have taken pride in being good neighbors and strengthening their communities,” said Ed Mullins, Prairie Farms Executive Vice President and CEO. “We believe Our Caps, Your Cause is a win/win for everyone. This is a great opportunity for members of the community to enjoy drinking Prairie Farms milk while also supporting their favorite charities and local farm families. Consumers can really feel good about drinking Prairie Farms milk!”

All 501(c)(3) nonprofits, local schools and faith-based organizations are invited to participate. For more information, or to learn about the program, please visit www.prairiefarms.com/our-caps-your-cause
