Dot Foods Expanding Mt. Sterling, IL Warehouse

Dot Foods is in the midst of the seventh expansion of its warehouse facilities at its corporate headquarters in Mount Sterling.
Company officials said the new 110,000-square-foot cooler warehouse was needed because of industry growth and volume needs. It is expected to be completed April 1.
The addition will bring the total warehouse space at the Brown County site to more than 1.41 million square feet. The increased storage capacity is expected to result in about 50 new jobs.
“This expansion brings a number of great advantages,” Dot Foods Senior Vice President Jim Tracy said. “First, it frees up a great deal of space in our dry and cooler warehouses to allow us to continue to grow and hire. It will also provide a brand new, employee-friendly break room for our frozen and cooler employees.”
